Rolascreen began in 2012 as Kwickscreen USA, distributing foreign-made hospital privacy screen alternatives to traditional curtains. Through direct customer experience, the company saw that healthcare facilities needed better quality, stronger service, and products that could evolve with changing regulations. In 2019, Rolascreen rebranded and became a USA-based manufacturer in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, using USA materials and labor. Today, the company manufactures retractable and portable hospital screens, security partitions, and room dividers for healthcare and commercial environments across North America. A healthcare privacy screen is a movable or wall-mounted partition designed to create visual privacy in clinical and public care settings. Rolascreen manufactures retractable and portable screens with non-porous, wipeable polyester panels that can help divide exam areas, waiting spaces, emergency departments, therapy gyms, and temporary care zones without permanent construction. The Rolascreen Elite is 9 inches in diameter when closed and opens to any width up to 10 feet, with width settings of 6'3", 8'3", and 10 feet. With an attachment it bends at any point along its width to form an L shape around a bed or equipment, it clutches to the wall when wall-mounted, and it can be converted from a wall-mounted unit to a portable one and back. The Rolascreen Lite is wall-mounted only, measures just 6 inches in diameter when closed, opens to any width up to 8 feet, and is available in heights from 3'6" to 6'3". The Rolascreen Multi is a portable screen on a portable base, and up to four Multi screens connect together at 90 degrees to enclose a corner or bay.
